Play Style
After starting up, choose a slot to create a new play data. You'll then be prompted to choose a Play Style. Full gameplay instructions can be found in the section Basic Rules.
Shake
Detach the Joy‑Con™ controllers and hold one in each hand. Play the game by shaking them in time to the music.
Button
Play the game using only the controller sticks and buttons. Push the sticks or press the buttons when the Rhythm Balls hit the corresponding Target Circles.
The following descriptions are common to all game modes.
Rhythm Game Screen
FEVER Level
FEVER level is ranked 1 (lowest),2, 3, 4, 5 and MAX (highest). This changes as the game progresses.
FEVER Gauge
This increases with accurately timed inputs, and decreases when you make mistakes. When the gauge becomes full, the FEVER level increases. If it drops to 0 your FEVER level will decrease.
SCORE
Your current SCORE. If you earn a new high score, “NEW RECORD” will be displayed (Rhythm Game only).
COMBO
If you make accurate inputs in succession without any mistakes, it becomes a COMBO. The number is displayed after a Combo of 10, and the score earned increases as the count reaches certain milestones. If you score a perfect COMBO from the start of the game, the P mark will also be displayed next to the FEVER gauge.
Target Circles
There are 6 in total, with 2 in the upper, middle and lower stages respectively. Shake the Joy‑Con (press the button) when the Rhythm Ball hits a Target Circle.
Rhythm Balls
These are released in time to the music.
Timing Rating
These come in four levels: BOO (worst), GOOD, GREAT and PERFECT (best). Better ratings are achieved by accurate input timing, which allows for greater scores.
Song Gauge
Displays the song’s progress, and indiates where Roulette themes can be expected. Songs with Roulette themes are marked with a “?” next to the name.
Results Screen
SCORE
Your final score.
COMPLETION
Your success rate for the song.
COMBO
If you complete a successful combo throughout the entire song, PERFECT will be displayed.
RANK
Your final rank. You’ll be assigned one of six ranks from E (lowest), D, C, B, A and S (highest). Press to see additional information and statistics such as your highest COMBO score.

Current money, and how much you earned during the round.
Level
Current level.
Experience / Experience Required to Next Level
Each time you play you gain experience. When experience reaches certain milestones, your level will increase.
Rewards
Previews your next level up reward.
Starting the Game
Create a Save Data
At the title screen, choose from one of three slots. All game progress will be saved to the selected slot.
Autosave
Game progress is saved automatically at the end of each round, and at other selected times. While saving is in progress, the autosave icon will be displayed. Please do not exit the game or switch off the console at this time.
Basic Rules
Although the game has numerous modes, the basic rules are the same.
Rhythm Balls flow to the beat of the music. When they hit the Target Circles, shake the controller or press the assigned button.
Use the controllers like maracas and move your whole body to the music!
Shake
The 6 Target Circles are positioned in the upper, middle and lower screen on the left and right side. For each Target Circle, shake the maracas with your left or right hand pointing up, to the side, or downwards.
Button
For the left hand circles use the directional buttons, and for the right press

in the direction indicated to the same effect.
Special Gimmicks
Rapid
This is indicated by a succession of purple/red Rhythm Balls.
Shake | Shake the controller continuously as the Rhythm Balls hit the Target Circle. |

Button | Press the corresponding button (or flick the stick in the corresponding direction) repeatedly as the Rhythm Balls hit the Target Circles. |
Pose
When “POSE!” is displayed, imitate the pose you see and hold it for the required time.
Shake | Simply hold the controllers in the same positions you see. |

Button | Press and hold the button or stick direction that corresponds with the positions of the on-screen maracas. |
Dance
When “COPY!” is displayed, imitate the movements of the instructor “Pose.”
Move the controllers up and down, left and right, round and round as indicated to really get into the groove! The more repetitions you get in, the higher your rating.
Shake | Repeatedly move the controllers according to the onscreen demonstration. |

Jump
After a countdown, jump when prompted to by the “JUMP!” display.
Shake | Raise both controllers and jump in time with the demonstration. |

Slide
When you see the arrow mark, simply trace its path.
Shake | Trace the arrow’s path with the controller. |

Button | Move the Left Stick or Right Stick to trace the arrow‘s path. Alternatively, push the assigned button when the arrow reaches the Target Circle. |
Roulette
A Roulette Ball marked with a “?” sometimes appears among the Rhythm Balls. If you input successfully as the Roulette Ball hits the Target Circle, a Roulette wheel will spin selecting a theme to play.
There are numerous themes, such as “Home Run,” where you hit flying objects with maracas, and “Pose Rush,” where you’re given a number of poses to imitate.
If you play successfully, your FEVER level will increase by 1. Play badly and it will drop by 1.
After selecting a slot at the title screen, you will be taken to the main menu.
RHYTHM GAME
A classic Rhythm Game mode for 1 player. Choose from 4 difficulty levels and play the song through to the end to clear!
WORLD PARTY
An online competitive elimination game mode for up to 8 players. Play through songs in succession and the last one standing at the end is the winner!
PARTY FOR TWO
A party game for 2 players. There are 4 modes to select from!
StreamiGo!
A mission mode for 1 player. Clear various missions to gain followers!
ONLINE PLAY
An online mode for 2 to 4 players.

A classic Rhythm Game mode for 1 player.
Choose a song and a difficulty level to begin.
Difficulty levels are rated as NORMAL, HARD, SUPER HARD and CRAZY! CRAZY features a variety of dance and slide gimmicks compared to other levels, adding a whole new dimension of fun!
Use the maraca meter as a guide to just how difficult each difficulty really is before playing.
Press to mark a song as a Favorite, and press
to toggle the display order.
After you have selected a song, the start dialog will be displayed. Select from the following modes.
Rhythm Game
Play according to the classic game rules. Play to the end of the song to clear the round. If the FEVER gauge drops to 0 while your FEVER level is at 1, then it’s Game Over.
Ranking Challenge
Compete with players from all over the world to achieve the high score for each song. Basic rules are identical to Rhythm Game.
When you achieve a high score, the record will be uploaded at the Results screen, and the top 10,000 scores will be registered on the Ranking Board. Press at the Song Select screen to check the Ranking Board.
Practice
Practice the different songs. Unlike Rhythm Game mode, you can play to the end of the song even if the FEVER gauge drops to 0. However, high scores are not recorded and there are no rewards.
An online elimination match between up to 8 players.
Select JOIN! at the mode screen to begin matching.
A total of 20 players compete, made up of AI controlled players and up to 8 human players. When all the players are gathered, the game will begin.
PHASE 1 to PHASE 3 are comprised of a single song each, played in succession. The song and difficulty are chosen at random.
The cut-off line for the PHASE is displayed, and players ranking above that line stay in the game. Those that aren’t or don’t make it to the end are eliminated.
Player ranking is displayed to the right of the screen. The name and icon of the #1 player is always displayed.
Stage / Stage Point
Stage points increase or decrease based on your ranking at the end of PHASE 3 or at the time of elimination. The higher your rank, the more points you get. As you accumulate stage points, the stage will increase and the shape of the character icon will change.
Items
If you attain a certain score, you can receive up to 1 Item per PHASE. Press to use an item with various useful effects.
Bomb Popper I
Destroys 1 of your opponents’ Target Circles for a limited time. You cannot hit Rhythm Balls at missing target circles. |
Bomb Popper II
Destroys 2 of your opponents’ Target Circles for a limited time. |
Bomb Popper III
Destroys 3 of your opponents’ Target Circles for a limited time. |
Golden Notes
Rhythm Balls turn gold for a limited time, increasing earned points by 50%. |
Cat Burglar
Steals points from your opponents. |
Gold Cat Burglar
Steals lots of points from your opponents. |
Regular Banana
Your FEVER gauge increases by 5 bars. |
Bunch of Bananas
Your FEVER gauge increases by 10 bars. |
Golden Bananas
Your FEVER level goes to MAX. |
Retire
Press and hold during gameplay to exit the room. Retirement means your elimination and in some circumstances you may lose stage points.
A party game mode for 2 players. A seperate controller or set of Joy‑Con™ controllers is required for both players.
Rhythm Game
The rules are the same as for 1 player Rhythm Game. The game will end if the FEVER gauge of both players reaches 0.
Love Checker
Diagnose your compatibility via a rhythm game.
When the rhythm of both players is synchronized, the heart pieces will move closer to the center. Try to complete as many hearts as you can.
When the song ends, a compatibility diagnosis is displayed. What happens when compatibility is over 100%...?
Show Down
The player with the most viewers by the end of the song wins.
A judgement will be made 6 times during the song, and the player with the highest score at that point will find their viewers increase.
The point gauge at the top of the screen displays the color of the winning player at the time of each judgment (1P: red, 2P: blue, tie: green).
After the match ends, the losing player must perform a penalty game! The penalty is determined by roulette, so don’t give up hope!

A selection of 3 game modes for Shake style play.
Mini Games come with their own original songs.

Attempting missions in the listed genres will increase your followers.
In addition, “Double Follower Week!” and “Being Flamed!?” may occur for all genres. In the case of “Being Flamed!?”, if you fail the mission, the number of followers will decrease, but if you succeed, you can acquire a large number of followers.
Missions Completed
Status
Your current status rank and followers required to reach the next status.
Status rises in order of “Park Ambassador” → “City Ambassador” → “Country Ambassador” → “Earth Ambassador” → “Space Ambassador” → “Official Ambassador”.
Mission list
The opponent character and minimum followers required. Missions that cannot be selected require you to first increase your followers. When a candidate opponent follows you, it’s time to play!
Selecting any mission will bring up the details screen.

Missions are divided into mission panels.
Select a panel to display the clear conditions and bonus conditions, then select “START” to start the mission. The information displayed on the panel for each stage is as follows.

As you play, comments from viewers will pop up.
If you achieve the bonus conditions displayed when you selected the mission, you may receive tips from the viewers.

The rules are the same as the “Show Down” in Party For Two, and the player with the most viewers by the end of the mission wins.
An online Rhythm Game mode for 2 to 4 players.
At the top screen, “Suggested Rooms” are rooms that are open to new players and can be entered freely.
Search for a Room
Enter a Room Code to search for a room directly. The Room Code is displayed on the top of the screen in the room.
Create an Open Room
Create a room that anyone can join. The room code is automatically generated.
Create a Private Room
Create a room that only those with the code can join. You can decide the code yourself.
Enter a room to see the room code and the gathered players.
When 2 or more players have gathered, 1P player presses to proceed to the song selection screen. The player with the song selection right can choose a song, or press
to pass the right to the next player in turn.
The remainder of the game is the same as for Rhythm Game.
Retire
Press and hold during gameplay to exit the room.
Customization Shop
Change the appearance of Amigo.
Categories
Switch customization items for each genre.
Tabs from left to right are as follows:

Customization Items
Rarity and purchase price is displayed under each item. Some items can only be obtained by fulfilling special conditions.

The number of beans and money you currently have. Beans can be obtained by ranking high in World Party, as well as be purchased at the shop.

See how Amigo will look with the selected customization item.

Check out your records and achievements.

Make changes to various game settings.
Play Style
Change the control style.
SE / BGM / Voice
Set the volume level for each category.
Rhythm Ball Speed
Change the speed that rhythm balls move.
Display Timing:
Handheld Mode / Tabletop Mode / TV Mode
Adjust the display timing of rhythm balls for each mode.
Setting the numerical value to “+” slows down the display timing, and setting it to “-” speeds it up.
Input Timing: Shake / Button
Adjust the difference in input when you shake the Joy‑Con or press the button, and the success judgment during play.
Setting the numerical value to “+” delays the judgment timing of “PERFECT”, and setting it to “-” speeds it up.
Background Brightness
Adjust the brightness of the background during gameplay.
Maraca Guide
Display or hide the maracas during Shake style play.
Tutorial
Replay the tutorial that is shown when you create a new Save data.
