In 2019, ex-Tojo Clan Arakawa Family member Ichiban Kasuga and his gang exposed a massive conspiracy involving the Governor of Tokyo after a grueling battle.
Following this revelation, they each returned to their respective lives.
By the time 2022 rolls around, Kasuga’s yakuza days are long behind him.
He now spends his time helping former gang members reintegrate into society.
His comrades have also found their own places in life and are chasing new dreams.
However, after a certain video emerges online, their lives plummet into free fall.
Meanwhile, Kasuga learns that his mother, who was believed to be dead, is actually alive.
Kasuga sets foot in the land of Hawaii with the intention of meeting his long-lost mother.
There, on that small slice of paradise, he encounters the Dragon of Dojima—Kazuma Kiryu…

Their fateful encounter sets in motion a grand conspiracy that will envelop two distant worlds…
In this installment, in addition to Yokohama’s Isezaki Ijincho, you're also able to visit the series’ first overseas location, Hawaii.

Beast Style
A fighting style that compensates for its lower agility with higher Attack and Defense. Kiryu’s basic attacks become grapples, allowing him to deal significant damage to enemies who are guarding.
Although this style offers a smaller movement range, it excels at attacking multiple enemies.
The Dragon of Dojima job’s basic attacks also become stronger when used near enemies.

Afflicted status ailments are displayed as icons under each character's stats.
Gaining the Upper Hand in Battle
Proximity Bonus and Back Attacks
During your turn, look at your surroundings and move to an advantageous position before choosing your command. If you decide to use the Attack command while in close proximity to the enemy, you will receive a proximity bonus and inflict more damage than usual.
The target indicator will change when you move into range of the proximity bonus.
In addition, if you approach an enemy from behind who is targeting one of your allies and use the Attack command, you can trigger a back attack and inflict significant damage. Not only do back attacks deal more damage, they also ignore guard.
Use Nearby Objects as Weapons
You can attack enemies with surrounding objects. Objects that can be picked up are indicated by a triangular icon. When you approach the object and the icon appears, select the Attack command to use it. Some objects deal heavy damage, while others can explode, engulfing several enemies.
Knockbacks
When a basic attack or a skill with the knockback effect successfully lands, you can send the enemy flying backward. Any enemies behind the knocked-back foe will be damaged as well. Furthermore, if you send enemies flying in the direction of your party members, they can follow up with attacks of their own.
Be on the lookout for enemies in compromising locations and move into position before issuing your commands.
Bear in mind, you have to use skills with a knockback effect to knock back heavier enemies, as they can't be knocked back with basic attacks.
Attack Downed Enemies
When an enemy is knocked down, they won’t be able to get back up right away. Attacking them in this state will deal tremendous damage and restore a large amount of your MP. During your turn, choose your commands quickly to fully capitalize on this opportunity.
Perfect Guards
Press the Cancel button the moment you’re attacked to perform a Perfect Guard and reduce the damage you receive. This prevents you from being knocked away and makes you more resistant to status ailments. Perfect Guard is a great way of mitigating damage without having to use the Guard command. A Perfect Guard performed while using the Guard command will reduce even more damage. They can also be executed during auto-battle.
Perfect Attacks
The basic attacks of certain jobs as well as some skills have button prompts when executed.
You'll either be prompted to press the /Y button at the right moment, or have to rapidly tap the /X button within a specific time frame. If successfully executed, you’ll trigger a Perfect Attack which will inflict greater damage than usual.
Demolish an Enemy’s Guard with Grapples
Enemies who are guarding are resistant to most damage.
Choosing a skill with a grapple effect can break an enemy’s guard, allowing you to deal substantial damage. Additionally, Kiryu’s unique job, Dragon of Dojima, enables him to grapple enemies with his basic attack while in Beast Style.
Use Magic Attacks on Quickstepping Enemies
Some enemies are adept at evading physical attacks—namely blunt, blade, and gun attacks. To deal with them, try using magic attacks like Tomizawa’s Battery Shock. Unlike physical attacks, magic attacks will always hit, ensuring reliable damage.

Advancing Drink Links enables your party members to learn Tag Team skills and perform combo attacks.
Raising Bond Levels
Members other than Kasuga can gain bond points by cooperating in battle. They will be awarded them once the battle ends.
Additionally, bond points can be earned through the following means:

Walk & Talks, Bond Bingo, Walk & Talk Finales
While strolling through the city, you can sometimes initiate a Walk & Talk with a friend. The knowledge you gain from the Walk & Talk will be noted in Bond Bingo, allowing you to deepen your bond with them.
Once you’ve completed a row, column, or diagonal line in Bond Bingo, you’ll score a bingo, earning you additional bond points.
When you fill in the entire Bond Bingo card, you unlock a special event called Walk & Talk Finale with that friend.
Giving Gifts to Friends
Shops throughout the city will stock items that can be given as immediate presents to your friends to deepen your bond with them. These gifts can also be given to your companions at hangouts. If the gift matches the recipient's preferences, you'll gain a significant boost to the amount of bond points you earn.
Restaurants and Minigames
Dining at restaurants with your party members deepens your bond with them. In certain eateries, ordering a combo meal will initiate a table talk that will increase your bond with all participants.
Additionally, there are minigames that can be played together with your friends. Gain bond points while relishing in the nightlife—enjoy a game of darts or poker, or even some karaoke!
Pressing the options/OPTIONS/Menu button during the game will open up the Pause Menu.

Dondoko Island, now buried in trash, used to be a soothing resort island filled with beautiful nature and lively entertainment. Will Kasuga and his friends be able to restore it?
* You’ll become able to travel from Honolulu, Hawaii to Dondoko Island after progressing through the story.
The Path to a True Resort Paradise
By clearing out areas polluted with trash and reaching certain standards of Satisfaction and Popularity, you can increase your Resort Rank. Satisfaction rises when furnishings are placed, while Popularity increases when you collect local specialties. As your Resort Rank rises, more items will be available in shops and additional content will be unlocked.
A Day on Dondoko Island
A day on Dondoko Island follows this routine:
Morning Assembly
During the morning assembly, you can welcome guests and check island information, your map, the status of Dondoko Farm, and your Dondoko dailies.
Get Dokobucks from Dondoko Dailies
Dondoko dailies are missions that get updated each day. You earn Dokobucks usable on Dondoko Island upon clearing them. Try attempting Dondoko dailies to get familiar with the island. As your Resort Rank increases, the missions and rewards also change.
Dondoko Island Menu
The Dondoko Island menu allows you to check various information and access the Suggestion Box, DIY info, Dokopedia, and the Save/Settings screen. As you continue developing Dondoko Island, you’ll become able to check the status of guests and Dondoko Farm as well.
Moving Around
When moving around Dondoko Island, you can not only walk/dash but also select a location on the signboard map to move to it. Additionally, for travel back to Hawaii, you can go to Dondoko Beach and use Dolphine.
How Time Passes
On Dondoko Island, time passes from daytime to evening and then to night. In the evening or later, you can check the calendar in Kasuga’s house to recover health and conclude the day. Since health won’t recover if you stay outside until the end of the day, you should try to rest early.
Solve Your Problems with a Bat
Use your favorite bat to revitalize Dondoko Island.
Cleaning Up the Island with a Bat
Use the bat to break and collect resources from garbage, trees, and rocks. From garbage, you can obtain cloth, plastic, metal, glass, and semiconductors. Trees yield lumber, while rocks yield stones.
Clearing Out Polluted Areas
Cleaning up trash and putting in a request to clear the area out will give you more space to place furnishings. Clearing an area out requires Dokobucks and Building Talent. Moreover, the higher the island’s cleanliness, the greater the discount you’ll receive on Dokobucks needed for clearing areas out.
Driving Away the Washbucklers
Counter the attacks of the unscrupulous waste disposal group, the Washbucklers, with your bat. When driven away, they drop Dokobucks. Note that Kasuga will be stunned if he takes enough damage to reduce his hearts to zero.
Dondoko Island Specialties
Dondoko Island has specialties including shells, mushrooms, ores, fish, bugs, and souvenirs.
Fishing and Catching Bugs
Fishing on Dondoko Island is done with a harpoon. You can fish by holding the harpoon in front of fishing spot signs. It’s also possible to catch fish while swimming. To catch bugs, bring out your bug net and swing it towards a bug.
Enhance your bat, harpoon, and bug net for increased efficiency!
When you have extra funds, consult Kenzo the carpenter to upgrade your tools. Tool upgrades can be done up to four times, increasing their swing speeds with each level.
Making Souvenirs
Making souvenirs out of island specialties and giving them to guests significantly increases guest approval. Additionally, some souvenirs can restore Kasuga’s health.
Crafting and Placing Furnishings
You can craft DIY furnishings and place them on the island.
Crafting Furnishings
You can use the resources you’ve collected to create furnishings. Crafting furnishings earns you building experience, increasing your Building Talent level. As your Building Talent level rises, the variety of furnishings you can create increases.
Placing Furnishings
Furnishings obtained through DIY or from Matayoshiya can be placed on Dondoko Island and inside Kasuga's house. Decorating the island with furnishings increases Satisfaction, making it a more appealing place.
In Kasuga’s house, you can not only add furnishings but also change the interior. As his home improves, Kasuga’s max health increases, making it harder for enemies to defeat him.
Welcoming Guests
Set up lodgings and welcome guests to the island.
Setting up Guest Lodgings
Set up lodgings on the island after purchasing them from Kenzo. During placement, ensure entrances to lodgings face the road. The number of people who can stay at a lodging and their Lodging Ranks vary, with higher Lodging Ranks resulting in more satisfied guests.
Number of Lodgings
Initially, you can only place one lodging. However, as you continue clearing areas on Dondoko Island, you’ll become able to place two lodgings on the south side (Entrance, Great Tree, Hills, and Lighthouse areas) and three on the north side (Fields, Cave, and Forest areas).
Selecting Your Guests
As the island’s Popularity rises, the number of lodging applicants increases. Check their budgets and requests to decide whom to accommodate. Customers with a higher budget will pay more money at checkout when satisfied. However, these guests have challenging requests, so be cautious when selecting guests to invite on tours.
Satisfying Your Guests
Over the course of their 3-day stay, fulfill the guest’s four requests, emote towards them, or give them presents to satisfy them. When satisfied, they will pay a significant amount at checkout.

● Dokomiles Shop
Visiting other islands and completing missions earns you Dokomiles. You can exchange Dokomiles for island tags and new avatars, specialties, and more. Once you accumulate Dokomiles, talk to the parrot and check out the Online Mile Shop.
Dangerous individuals known as Sujimon roam the streets. Kasuga decides to participate in the Suji League, a tournament where Sujimon battle each other, becoming a Sujimon Trainer. Aim to become the Sujimon Master! Lead your Sujimon to victory!!!
* You’ll become able to participate in Sujimon battles after progressing through the story.
The Path of a Sujimon Master
There are five grades for Sujimon Trainers, as shown in the diagram below. Winning in Sujimon battles increases your Trainer Rank, while defeating the Discreet Four raises your grade.
When you earn badges and grow as a trainer, the maximum level of your Sujimon also increases.
Snagging Sujimon
You can make a Sujimon your ally through the following methods:
Catching Sujimon
You can recruit any Sujimon that decide to hang around after you finish a battle or raid in Hawaii.
To make one your ally, you'll need to offer a Suji Gift as a gesture of friendship. Convey your sincerity effectively.
Raids
Raids are a test of strength among the most powerful of creeps!
If you’re able to come out on top, you’ll have a chance to recruit the defeated Sujimon (excluding some special varieties).
Sujimon Gacha
You can spend money or gacha tickets to befriend new Sujimon. Sujimon Gacha machines are located at the Sujigami PC Shop and Sujimon gyms, but you can find them around town, too!
Strengthen Your Sujimon
You can strengthen your Sujimon through the following methods:
Strengthening at Suji Spots
Visit Suji Spots around town to strengthen your Sujimon by feeding them Sujimunch. Your Sujimon can also awaken, evolve, and spar at these spots.
Awakening/Evolving Sujimon
You can enhance your Sujimon by selecting Awaken Sujimon at a Suji Spot. By feeding a Sujimon another of their same species, their stats will improve! Additionally, Sujimon that have been awakened to their maximum can evolve into a higher form—not only does this raise their stats, but they may unlock new skills as well.
Fight in Sujimon Battles
Strengthen your Sujimon by achieving victory in sparring matches at Suji Spots and battles with rival trainers throughout the city. Battles also allow you to deepen your friendships with your Sujimon.
Check the Rank of Rival Trainers!
Rival trainers of various ranks can be found throughout the city. Before starting a battle, confirm the trainer’s rank and the average level of their Sujimon to ensure you’re challenging opponents that are at your level.

Your Substitute Sujimon
Types
The five types and their affinities.
Frost | Blaze | Nature | Light | Shadow |
MP (Morale Points)
When using SP to launch attacks, MP will accumulate. Attacking multiple opponents at once or having a type advantage will result in more MP accumulation.
Opponent Trainer’s MP
Once the opponent trainer has accumulated MP, the opponent Sujimon can unleash special attacks.
Exploit the Type Matchups!
All Sujimon have types. These types have affinities, and attacking a Sujimon’s type weakness will provide you with an advantage.
The arrows extending from the attacking Sujimon indicate the following: Red = Advantageous, White = Normal, Black = Disadvantageous.
Play the Field Right!
The positioning of your Sujimon in relation to opponents affects the power and range of their attacks. Remember the following when switching the positions of your Sujimon:
● Attacks aimed straight ahead are more powerful.
● Attacks on a diagonal line have reduced power.
● Attacks will not reach enemies that are too far away diagonally.
You can swap a Sujimon on the field with another or switch them out for one of your reserves.
Unleash Special Attacks!
Once MP has accumulated over the course of battle, you can instruct your Sujimon to use their special attacks. Special attacks have powerful effects that can turn the tide of battle, including healing allies on the field and dealing major damage to enemies.
When one of your Sujimon goes for a special attack, a roulette will appear, enabling you to enhance its attack range or healing effects. Try having the roulette land on the red marker!

Kick off this action-packed part-time gig where you’ll perform crazy stunts as you gather food and deliver it to customers in style!
Deliver Food with Style!

However, you won’t be able to meet your quotas by riding safely! To achieve the target amount, keep performing tricks, wheelies, drifts, and other stunts as you carry out your deliveries. Customers will be thrilled, earning you a higher rating and more cash!

Miss Match
When you encounter Machiko-san near the pancake house on Seaside Ave. in Honolulu, you’ll gain access to the dating app that she developed, Miss Match.
Kasuga, lacking confidence in his interactions with women, decides to accumulate dating experience through the app.
By editing his profile text and icon to increase his match rating with women and successfully charming them over chat, he can progress to actual dates. Who will appear when he shows up for the date, though?
You’ll use purchased points for matchmaking. If you wish to match with even more people, consider upgrading to the more expensive Gold or Platinum membership plans.
Dungeons
While these may differ from typical spots you’d visit for fun, each city has dungeons where you can test your skills.
Dungeon layouts will be different every time you enter, and they are all inhabited by ruffians. Trapped among them are missing persons who will seek out your help.
Progress through the dungeon, search for rare items, defeat the ruffians within, and rescue the missing persons. (Losing a battle inside the dungeon results in a failed attempt, and you’ll be expelled outside.)
